Somatic and Relational Counselling in Vancouver, BC & Online

Aliona Sydorenko Counselling

Compassionate therapy for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, shame, and self-worth.

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in old patterns, or simply longing for a deeper sense of grounding, therapy can offer a place to slow down, breathe, and begin to reconnect with yourself.

I offer in-person counselling in Vancouver and online counselling across BC for adults seeking thoughtful, trauma-informed, and relational support.

Somatic counselling rooted in presence, compassion, and relationship

My approach is grounded in somatic and relational counselling. This means we pay attention not only to your thoughts and story, but also to your emotional experience, your body’s responses, and the patterns that may have developed through past relationships and painful life experiences.

Therapy can be a space to gently slow down, notice what is happening within you, and explore your experience with curiosity rather than judgment.

In our work together, we may explore:

  • Body sensations and nervous system responses

  • Emotional patterns and coping strategies

  • Relational wounds and attachment dynamics

  • Shame, self-criticism, and self-worth

  • Grief, loss, and the impact of trauma

  • What helps you feel more grounded, present, and connected

This kind of work can support somatic healing, emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of trust in yourself.
